Adding Text And Credits

After completing your film it might be a good idea to add a title screen at the beginning and a credits screen at the end.

To do this first of all go to the bar across the top of premier pro, there should be a an option there called 'Title' click this and then a drop down options box should appear.

Click 'new title' and then choose which type of text you would like to insert onto your timeline, there is default still, which is just a basic title that will stay in the same place on the screen, default roll which is what you would usually see at the end of a movie, moving from the bottom to the top and then there's default crawl which is text that moves left to right or right to left.

Once you have selected your text type the text editor will open and you can then type in what you would like and change the size, colour and position of your text.
Once you have your desired text just close the text editor and your text will be within your project bin.
Drag that into your timeline and then you can place it where you like onto your timeline.
If you want the text to be on screen as your movie plays you can simply just place it above where your film scenes are and select where you want it to go, if you want it at the beginning or end of your film just place it on the same row as your film before or after your other film scenes.
