Filming Duties

This post will explain as easy as possible what instructions should be given by people who have been given roles throughout filming.

Director: The Director communicates with the actors, informing them of how the scene being filmed should be played out. The Director decides what looks right and what looks wrong, what scenes should be redone and what scenes look good.
*The Director shouts action and cut, informing everyone when to begin and stop.

Camera Crew: The Camera Crew are directed by the Director and are informed of what angles the scene should be filmed in and what way the scenes should be filmed.
The Camera Crew should always be ready and not shoot a scene too late when the director says to begin, a simple mistake like that could cause the scene to go completely wrong and the scene to be taken again.
*The Camera Crew must inform the Director when the camera's have started filming, all Camera Crew should shout their camera number and then shout "Rolling", this is all before the Director can shout action.

Actors: The actors have a very demanding role, they should always be ready and should listen to what the director and camera crew are saying, any slip ups from the Actors can cause the scene to be scrapped and then repeated.
*All actors should be ready and in position and start the scene a few seconds after the Director shouts action, this is for editing reasons, you never want to start a scene too late or it might have to be re-done.
