Tripods

Step by step, how to set up a tripod ready for filming/photo taking.

1. With most tripods there are basically 2 sets of legs, one inside of the other.
undo the clips keeping the legs secure.
extend the legs fully, keep in mind you may have a tripod that has a handle where you can extend the top to a different hight.

2. Spread the legs, make sure the brace at the top of the legs is secure. look at the level on top of the tripod, the small bubble inside of the level should be centre. adjust the legs until you're satisfied with the bubble being centre, then secure the legs once your tripod is level.

3. Once you are satisfied with the stance of your tripod, you're ready to attach the camera. There should be a small plate that screws onto your camera, make sure you take this off from the tripod before attaching it to your camera, just for safety of yourself and your camera.
attach this plate to your camera and then go ahead and attach it to the top of your tripod and make sure it is secure.

YOU'RE NOW READY FOR FILMING.
