This is my example of a script, scripts are an important part of film making, it not only shows the actors what they must do and learn but it shows the director what must be done while filming and it also helps the editor while he's editing all of the scenes taken.
FADE IN:
FADE IN:
INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY - DAY
(MAX and SIMON burst through the doors into a clean, well-lit seminar room.)
MAX:
Are we on time?
SIMON:
How could they start without us?
We’re in the main part!
(MAX catches his breath as he leans against the podium at the front of the room.)
MAX: (looking about
the room) We are?
SIMON:
Don’t be an idiot. You know we're the best actors in school.
MAX: (Looking into different classrooms)
But why are all the rooms empty?
(MAX and SIMON burst through the doors into a clean, well-lit seminar room.)
MAX:
